I wasn't too pleased with the first one I did, so just like that Irvine pic, I decided to do a remake. So after a few months (yes thats how long it takes me to do things now) this one is finished.

This is Arcueid Brunestud from the Tsukihime anime and not the game, so if you think she looks older, thats the reason.

About the blue tint and sunlight behind look. I used a white conte crayon for the highlights on the hair and other areas. When I scanned it in, it has a totally different hue than the graphite but I didn't notice since the saturation was so low, but when I turned it up I saw that the graphite was yellow and the highlights were blue. So I just left the saturation up and shifted the hue to reverse and thats how I got this effect. I thought it was interesting so I left it in.

On a side note to this, whenever I turn up the sat on my pencil renderings all the way, the orangeness really does resemble Shinkirou's artworks in a way :P.

Well, first of all, :+fav:

This particular way of drawing faces, I love it, and it's inspirating for my own art, to find a new path where I can evolve to. About the anatomy ... well, you should correct the hands, lol :)

Really good games, the final fantasy, and truelly inspirating, hé :)
