Second attempt at the chinese novel style. I think I got closer resemblance to the style this time around(hopefully). I found out the style involves a light blurry base and applying a solid color strokes over it, as well as color bleed-throughs. Well thats all I got out of it for now.

Don't worry. I'll be a pro at this in no time ;P. It's such a cool style to use.

There was a slight tilt when I scanned in the sketch so I just left it in.

Thx to SaskiaG for the texture link. Although I haven't quite got the hang of it as you can tell by the low opacity.

EDIT: Fixed the long, inverted thumb problem.

This is really nice. The colors are so soft and work easily together. And the darkness of her hair really stands out. I can't think of any critique you give (since this is on advanced critique, i'd expect you'd want one, or some thing) So yeah. You did a good job. 00=

Wow, she looks really nice! I lovelovelove her smile, and her prettypretty eyes. *_* Although, something's bugging me. The roots of her bangs look a little off, or maybe that's just me. :[

Overall, you did a very good attempt at the chinese novel style. :3

she's very pretty and very soft, the hair detail is wonderful. the coloring is amazing. your very good.. I must hate you now...:)
