Although emulating another person's style takes longer for me to complete, this one went a lot faster than my other works, except the fact that making the lineart super clean was extremely painful for me. I think I learned a great deal out of doing this. Although I thought this(I call it the "perfect" anime style) seems somewhat simple and not based heavily on real life knowledge, the skill it takes to make the lineart, coloring and shading absolutely perfect, which is required for its success, is phenomenal IMO. There are also many subtle asthetic qualities that would not be noticed conciously unless you actually try to copy the techniques for yourself. Overall I think I'm not cut out to be an anime artist. My unsteady hand makes me no match for those who are already skilled and talented in this style since I need long cleanup times.
Anyhow I'm curious to know what people think of the resemblance and accurracy of what I did. I love to try using other peoples styles .
Goodbye silveryls! The unnamed girl character salutes you .
I recognise the style and it's one of my faves! You've done a great job- the lineart, the shading and the beautiful colors. The background is simple but effective and the expression is just plain old cute.
You are cut out to be an anime artist, you just probably have a critical eye. Whenever I try copying a style I scrutinize my work and wonder why I just can't get it right, but then when I ask someone else they think it looks great- and they are people that know what they're talking about. So don't be over-critical because I think it's great!
looks pretty fucking great to me. I love symple shading and lineart styles and I think you did quite well. My cleanup times also take forever x_x. It's nice to see you trying things :3
I recognized it as her style right off the bat; even before I realized that the SILV in the title stood for silveryls. That takes talent; emulating another style like that. Good job!
This is amazingggg!! You're such an amazing artist...I have to recommend you to others to raise your publicity
