I probably shouldn't be doing this but I want to submit something so bad... I have so many wips planned that I'll never get to right now. -_-

I kinda like how this one turned out though. I think it's one of my best portraits I've done thus far. Sorry for the lack of of bg and the likes. Well...you know how it is...



EDIT: Some hair strands. I'm surprised no one noticed the adam's apple. But yea, guy, sorry if you were mislead. Last time I draw guys like this, promise...(not really :ninja:)

EDIT2: Fixed the grandma neck thing...(I hope). Upped the detail a bit too.

This is outstanding!! It reminds me of the artowrks of FFX and a lot of Yuna from the game, but nevermind. This face shows so much emotion and realism. It's very well painted and the colors are, as well, very good. Although you have no bg, you could just fill in the background with a flat color. I think this would improve the overall look a lot. Additionally I would add some sharp shadows to the face that are created by the hair that flows into the face. Doing this the forms of the face will stand more out.

Hope to see more paintings like this from you ;-)
